Center Scheduling
- The schedule will be maintained by the West Cobb County Bahá'í Community.
- The on-line version is the official
schedule for the Center.
- The
schedule will be posted at www.bfcl.org
under the Scheduling Calendar
link
- Each
activity must be scheduled through the LSA
secretary, an appointee of the LSA or a recognized Center Committee Member. Each LSA and Committee member must
log-in using their unique log-in name.
- The
scheduling is on a first come-first served basis. If your request
conflicts with another, you must work out any exchanges. If there is an over-riding need, you
may make an appeal to the Scheduling
Committee for consideration.
- A
single point of contact is necessary for each meeting or event. There must be an adult Bahá'í
member as a sponsor for all events.
- We prefer to use the on-line Scheduling Calendar form for
requests. If the web site is unavailable for some reason, you may send an
e-mail to one of the Scheduling Committee members at huenink@bellsouth.net or thomt@bellsouth.net . Should this
not be feasible, you may call Thom
at (770) 426-7713
or Gary
at (770) 845-1921. Be sure to include the date and
time requested, room name, responsible individual and sponsoring LSA.
Messages and e-mails will be checked at least daily.
- More
than one event may be scheduled at one time and repeating events may be
scheduled. Please check the room map for a specific room request.
- On-going
activities such as children’s classes may be scheduled for up to a
year in advance.
- The
Center will be deep cleaned twice a month. The schedule will not be
changed except by the Operations Committee
or if it conflicts with a daytime Holy Day Observance.
- Holy
Days will be automatically scheduled, but may not always be held at the
Center.
- From
time to time, a special event such as a visit from a member of the NSA may
preempt the schedule. The Scheduling Committee may, at its discretion,
bump a planned activity to accommodate the special event.
- The 19
Day Feasts may not be held at the Center.
- The
last group to leave the building is responsible for security. A security
checklist will be posted.
Please be sure to lock all doors and turn off the required lights.
- Please
leave the Center cleaner
than you found it. Security deposits are not being collected at this time
and hopefully will not be necessary.
